Christopher Koury
Senior VP Operations
With over two decades of experience in live entertainment and touring productions, I’ve built a career rooted in technical expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to delivering world-class shows. I’ve had the opportunity to work with industry leaders like Cirque du Soleil and Feld Entertainment, serving in key roles such as Assistant Technical Director, Production Manager, Company Manager, Head Rigger, and Head of Sound.
During my time with Cirque du Soleil, I contributed to major international productions including OVO, Crystal, and Axel, managing both the technical and logistical aspects of large-scale tours. Before that, my years with Feld Entertainment shaped much of my professional approach—I started on the ground as a rigger and sound tech and worked my way up to managing full touring operations. That journey gave me a deep understanding of every layer of production and reinforced the value of versatility, communication, and teamwork.
My early career also included work as a freelance technician with PRG and serving as an AV Director at Dobil Laboratories. I began in the industry as a studio runner at Firehouse Recording Studios, and I’ve never stopped learning, evolving, or striving to raise the bar on every project I take on.

I hold an Associate of Science degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University, along with theater set construction training from West Virginia University. I’m skilled in theatrical rigging, sound reinforcement systems, and production logistics, and I’m proficient in tools like AutoCAD, Vectorworks, and Microsoft Office—key for rigging plots, show advancements, and maintaining smooth, safe operations.
Now, as Senior VP of Operations at La Nota Productions, I bring all of that experience to support the creative and technical direction of our projects. I take pride in leading with integrity, staying calm under pressure, and being a reliable partner to my colleagues, clients, and collaborators as we continue to grow and innovate together.
